Melinda tried her best to keep everything together as she found herself struggling with homelessness. She had to make sure her two pups, Astro and Neehlah, wouldn’t be left behind. They meant everything to her. They were her family and comfort so she was going to try to make sure they had the best care possible.
The worst part was knowing that her girls needed veterinary care and that she couldn’t afford it. She spent some time looking up resources about how best to care for Astro and Neelah. That’s when she stumbled upon PAWS Canada. As always, PAWS stepped up with the assistance Astro and Neehlah needed. With PAWS help, the pups had access to veterinary examinations and received shots to prevent illnesses.
Sometimes life doesn’t always work out the way we want it to, but PAWS showed Melinda that she didn’t have to face this challenge alone. Even in the toughest of times, Astro, Neelah, and Melinda learned that love doesn’t have to be sacrificed.
