Bob Bourque, CHRP, serves as the Director of People & Culture and Director of Marketing at PAWS. A member of the PAWS Board since early 2024, Bob draws on extensive experience in Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources across diverse industries including retail, publishing, and advertising. His core expertise lies in recruitment, organizational development, and professional growth strategies.
Bob is a passionate history buff and amateur chef. He enjoys studying the lasting impacts of the First and Second World Wars and is always on the hunt for new recipes to share with his wife, family, and friends.
Deanna Vowels is the Director of Finance for PAWS. She has been a member of the PAWS Board since October 2021; serving as Director of Fundraising prior to assuming the Finance Director role. Deanna’s professional background is a 35+ year career as an accomplished Information Technology professional. With both strategic and operational expertise, her skill-sets encompass areas including finance, vendor relations, risk management, and quality management. She is an avid nature photographer and yoga enthusiast, who also enjoys travelling the world with her husband, family, and friends. One of her life goals is to combine her love of photography and travel to visit every species of penguin in their natural habitat.
Brian Bosma joined PAWS Canada as Director of Operations in 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in operations management and a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. With a background spanning academic publishing, facility management, print production, and medical devices, Brian is dedicated to coaching our team and enhancing processes to ensure top-tier care and support for our community. An avid cyclist, hiker, and crossword enthusiast, he also enjoys immersing himself in detective and fantasy fiction.
Brooke Einwiller joined PAWS as Director of Development with an enthusiastic commitment to supporting pet owners in need. She brings valuable experience from her role as Senior Development Officer at Western University and previously as Fundraising Manager at SARI.
Brooke has been recognized for her leadership and impact in the community, receiving the London Community Foundation’s Vital People Award (2024) and the Kate Young Leadership Award (2017).
A lifelong animal lover, Brooke is passionate about keeping pets and families together. At home, she enjoys life with her two beloved companions: Annie, her Goldendoodle, and Keko, her cat.
Monica Agora joined PAWS as Board Secretary in December 2025. She has more than a decade of project management experience working in healthcare, transportation, government and information technology sectors. She brings a wealth of expertise in project planning, strategy and stakeholder management and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). She aims to use her skills to make a positive impact on animal welfare. Monica enjoys hiking and cycling and spending time with her cat Oliver. She is passionate about Canada and has driven its entire length to enjoy the sights.
